Tennis is at the core of Sportech and The Tennis Professionals. Our business began in 1986 as a tennis pro shop and in the late 80’s was awarded a top 10 pro shop in the country by Tennis Industry magazine. In 1991 we expanded to include Sportech where over the years, we added pickleball, squash, platform tennis, ping pong and padel. Our selection of gear includes racquets, footwear, accessories and apparel and is unrivaled in the tri-state area.

We offer an extensive demo program so you can try different racquet models before buying. We will also take the time to discuss the different types of strings available and the characteristics of each.

SQUASH
Our squash racquet brands include Technifibre. Dunlop and Head and weigh from 120 grams and up. We have protective eyewear from Technifibre, Dunlop and Ria. We carry squash racquets for junior players as well.
Our most common squash restring requests are for Technifibre 305 green and Ashaway Super Nick XL.
STRINGING
Sportech and The Tennis Professionals are renown for their exceptional stringing expertise. Our stringing services and racquet repair services are well known and our team of stringers has strung over 50,000 racquets since we began our stringing app in August of 2017. We keep a detailed history of racquet, grip size, date strung and string. With that history it is easy to discuss changes in string choice or tension.
